Diguxx, THE MAGE. I am convinced that Diguxx is, by far, the most powerful being of my lore, both by knowledge and by power level. The only one who would be able to face him in combat would be Veuy, … Continue reading →

Last Wednesday, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced a proposal for new rules that would allow for a “ fast lane” of Internet traffic for content providers who are willing (and able) to pay a fee. [1] The proposal reverses the FCC’s previous commitment to net neutrality and open internet and allows ISP’s like Comcast or Verizon to slow down and censor services that don’t pay the toll.
We have to be totally honest, this situation is seriously grim. But there is still hope. The FCC already knows that the Internet community wants net neutrality, but they think they can put their spin on these new rules and sneak them through. If we can prove them wrong right now with a massive public outcry, we can literally save the Internet once again.
We need to stop the FCC now. Big business groups are already ramping up lobbying efforts with the FCC in swarms since Wednesday’s announcement in support of censoring the open Internet and to ensure this dangerous proposal moves forward. [2]
This is a critical moment. In the last few weeks more than 65,000 people have taken action with us. Can you help us get to 80,000 by the end of the day today?
This is one of the first Bionicle characters I ever created. I am very proud of how this version turned out because despite all the changes, it is clear to me that it is still Veuy. I also like that it is still smaller than my Turaga and Matoran MOCs. Just like a Rahaga, Veuy can fly in this form, but faster.
Description:
Veuy (formally stylized as “His Excellency, Senator Veuy of the Alpha Beings, of the Order of the Great Creators, of Spherus Magna”) is an Alpha Being, former Second in Command of the Order of the Great Creators and current Patriarch of the same organization after Vavakx’s death. He also operated as a member of the Spherus Magna Council until the events of the Xianori Rebellion.
Veuy is an Alpha Being with a severe personality. He is also skilled in political matters; however, whatever his politics, Veuy is extremely loyal to Vavakx and to his legacy. As his replacement as leader of the Order of the Great Creators, he has set high standards for the people under his command and has a low tolerance for incompetence or failure.
Like all Alpha Being, Veuy has complete control over his form. Despite never having received formal training, Veuy is also a mage of enormous potential. He has a close connection with the spirits, which was reinforced by his mask, the Kanohi Phiki. With enough preparation, he would be the only being capable of facing Diguxx in combat.
Among the powers that Veuy has shown to have (derived from his magic) are the ability to use psychometrics, communicate with the dead, and summon spirits into the real world. He also has the ability to predict the future, although his visions are never accurate.
Veuy wore a Great Kanohi Elda, Mask of Detection. Under unknown circumstances, this mask was “touched” by a spirit and transformed into the Great Kanohi Phiki, Mask of the Arcane, which reinforces its connection with the Spiritual Dimension.
