i would like to do such a series like yours, but unfortunately, i can’t really progress even at a mini series, because i’m perfectionistic too much, in some cases and my way of animating is including expressive poses, talking animation, walking animation, green screen effects, because i dislike this old “the living room is now the bionicle world, because bonkles are there” thing. but i still like your stuff anyway, your stories are amazing! and i will hope that i will finish some of mine someday

I’m really glad that you liked the story (I assume it is The Invasion: Rebellion you’re talking about)!

I actually dislike as much as you the concept of the living room as locations (at least for my complex “canon” stories, because sometimes I make other stop motion shorts where the living room works).

The Invasion: Rebellion is a sequel to another story I made back in 2010, The Invasion, which had the same problem (although at that time my animations and edition skills were even less refined).

While I was making The Invasion: Rebellion, I had this vision of great cities (for the Metru Magna locations) and rich kingdom (for Xianori), but in the end I had to make a new episode every two weeks so it would have been impossible for me to keep up if I was too ambicious. In the end I put my efforts on editing and writing a good script to make the story as interesting as possible.

I hope to be able to solve the problem in the future, but I’m glad that you liked the story!
