There has been one.

That one eight-legged spider was the Silver Chute Spider, a fan creation made for a Rahi building contest that was adapted into canon.

Outside of its guidebook entries, it was only featured in the short story Birth of a Dark Hunter, and even then it was only mentioned three times.
